Kalonzo Musyoka tells off Speaker Kinengo

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka lectured Kitui County Assembly Speaker Kevin Kinengo while attending a church service at Full Gospel Church Mwingi.

During his speech, Musyoka took a firm stance on leadership integrity, addressing Kitui Speaker Kevin Kinengo on the importance of staying neutral and upholding the responsibilities of his office as Speaker of the county assembly.

“I want to advise speaker Kinengo, that the work of a speaker is not activism, it is to wait for the MCAs in the County Assembly. You submit yourself to the will of the Assembly” Kalonzo stated.

Musyoka acknowledged existing leadership challenges within the Kitui County Assembly, urging local leaders to resolve their disputes rather than allowing them to escalate.

“There are some MCAs if they see the Speaker has taken a position they feel offended they go screaming but viwazi Kuna problem,” Kalonzo remarked.

“Am not the type to pretend there’s no problem, You have a problem in Kitui County assembly, go sort it out if you can’t ni mambo yenu,” he added.

Beyond addressing county leadership, Musyoka called for an end to divisive politics and encouraged national leaders to work together for the country’s development while dismissing recent criticisms against him, stating that he remains committed to initiatives that promote unity and national progress.
