Mutongoi TV Kililimbi show host Dj Biado has announced his exit from the station months after joining.
Biado joined the TV station as it was starting and has been instrumental in the station establishing itself in the region.
Taking to Facebook, DJ Biado announced it was time to take a media break and thanked his bosses and colleagues at Mutongoi TV for supporting him during his time at the station.
He lauded the station as one that practices professionalism and is among the best media houses saying it was good to give a chance to others to show their skills and talents.
“It “has been my pleasure to work at Mutongoi TV. Now it’s time to take a media break! I want to take this opportunity to thank the management through Mr. Jm who IS one of the best bosses I have ever met. I must say I really didn’t want to quit but nayo ningi kila kituaa vamwe no ivia. Again, I must commend that Mutongoi is one of the best media houses in the country where professionalism is practiced to the best.” DJ Biado said.
“I believe when you grow, sometimes it’s good to give others a chance to show their skills and talents. In whatever positions we hold it’s not that we are the best but it’s space given to us by God to make an impact. Former colleagues, I will miss you big time, imagine a day without calling (makulopu)!! To My dear loyal fans, I’m not quitting, I will be back soon!” He went on.
Biado told his fans that he will continue nurturing and promoting Kamba music until his last breath.
Previously Biado worked with Kyeni TV and quit to join Mutongoi TV when the station was starting.
He won several awards at the TV station the latest being the TV Host of the year and earlier TV show of the year in the Eastern Talanta Awards.
Speculations have been rife that Biado might be joining the recently launched Kamba TV station Ngumbau TV launched last week.
