Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has responded to claims that he touched Karen Nyamu inappropriately during Saturday’s Kamba festival.
Sonko via a post on X Responded to the video which shows Nyamu in an orange blouse and blue jeans dancing energetically while standing on a chair while Sonko stands beside her and spanks her.
The former Nairobi Boss took to social media to post a screenshot of post of the video while questioning whether it was wrong for a man to admire a woman.
“I have seen this clip doing rounds kwa sosho mindia. Hembu niwaurise kwani kukura na maso iko sinda ngani?” Sonko said.
Both politicians appeared to be in high spirits, dancing and interacting with other guests for the rest of the evening as recent social media activity has sparked rumors about Nyamu’s relationship status with her baby daddy, mugithi singer, Samidoh. Nyamu, who previously shared posts about Samidoh, recently stopped posting about him, leading fans to speculate about their relationship.

Bijo Gal added, “I think guys are hating her for nothing…. used to old leaders… just coz she’s female, I’ve seen MPs in clubs and they don’t receive all this kind of hatred.”
