Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai has fired back at Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, days after he rebuked Ukambani leaders who visited State House two weeks ago to lobby for development.
Speaking at Voo/Kyamatu during Madaraka Day celebrations, the MP defended the visit, saying it was lobby for development and the President would be visiting the County to commission some of the projects in July.
“The statehouse visit is what has brought us Zombe-Kyuluni road, Kalonzo told off the people who went to Statehouse to lobby for development. I never speak about Kalonzo, and since he mentioned us, I will answer him. What does he want from me? I will fin**r him,”Mbai said.

“We also got the KMTC for our Mutitu hospital, the President will come next month. He says we are cursed, we will go back to Statehouse when he is watching. Kalonzo should come and see the roads being launched in July. For over 25 years, the only thing he took to his place was Waita Prison.” Mbai went on.
The MP further cautioned politicians who insult Ruto while in Kitui East, saying freedom of speech is guaranteed, but not after the speech. This comes just a day after a female MCA in the area was assaulted by goons at a funeral for defending Kalonzo’s 2027 presidential bid and throwing shade at President William Ruto.
“Those who want to insult Ruto while in Kitui East, there is freedom of speech, but we cannot assure you freedom after the speech.” He cautioned.
