MP Mulyungi bans Mwingi West’s Nguna from his constituency

Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi has banned his colleague, Charles Nguna of Mwingi West, from setting foot in his constituency.

The shocking move has sent ripples through the Wiper Democratic Movement, exposing fractures within the Ukambani political leadership.

Speaking in Mwingi, angry Mulyungi did not mince his words, accusing Nguna and other Wiper MPs of betraying party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

 The rift stems from their decision to defy Kalonzo’s directive to vote against the impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

“Kalonzo is our political father, and we stand by his word. When he says we go right, we go right; when he says left, that’s where we go. Any leader who defies Kalonzo has signed their own political death,” Mulyungi declared.

 He specifically targeted Nguna, popularly known as CNN, for defiance, labeling him a traitor to the Ukambani cause.

Nguna had attended the function where Kalonzo was in attendance but left early after sensing tension.

“I don’t even know why Nguna bothered to come here. If you see him, tell him he is not welcome in Mwingi Central. He should go to Kwale,” Mulyungi added, drawing cheers from his supporters.

Mulyungi praised the Wiper leaders who remained loyal to Kalonzo, commending their steadfastness in protecting the region’s political future.

 “I thank the leaders who held their ground. They understand that defying Kalonzo is like walking into political oblivion.”

 In his speech Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka promised to crack the whip on Wiper MPs who voted yes to Gachagua’s impeachment asking them to move to UDA. Missed the story? Check it out below;
