Muthama lists the number of PSs Ukambani region will get, cautions them on how to work

UDA chairman Johnson Muthama Nduya has revealed the number of PS positions Makueni, Kitui, and Machakos counties will get.

Addressing UDA leaders at his home in Mua Hills, Muthama revealed that Ukambani counties would get one PS from each of the three counties and they ought to work with the community.

He cautioned them against being selfish and putting their families first noting that this should not be their priority rather they should prioritize the community, Kenyans, and family later.

“If being given a position of a PS you shall not help people it is rather you go home! If you are given a job and you are not delivering to the community, we shall be going to President Ruto and telling him to sack this one, they are not helping the community,” Muthama said.

“If you are waiting to be an officer for your own benefit and that of your family, forget about it. First, we start with the community, Kenyans, and then your family If not so go and open a family business in Machakos town and operate it,” The UDA chair added.

Muthama went on to ask the Kamba community to stop questioning why he was not given a position in the UDA government noting that he wants to be able to negotiate for the community and not be tied up by an office.

President Ruto is this week expected to unveil 49 PSs who will be at the center of running the operations of the government after names of successful applicants were forwarded to him. Ruto received more than 200 names from the Public Service Commission (PSC) after the conclusion of the interviews on Saturday last week.
