Masekete Gets Saved, Confesses alcoholism

Popular Kamba musician Jackson Mutinda Masekete has announced his decision to get saved, marking a significant shift in his life and career.

The emotional declaration came during a recent church service at Prophet Jackson Mwololo’s PHD Church in Kware, Pipeline, Nairobi.

Masekete, widely known for his vibrant Kamba secular hits and popular for being at the center of controversies, took to the pulpit to share his spiritual awakening, stating that he had experienced a divine calling that led him to abandon his past ways of alcoholism and drug abuse and dedicate his life to serving God.

Prophet Jackson Mwololo, the leader of PHD Church, welcomed Masekete’s decision and prayed for him, urging the musician to use his talent to spread the gospel while terming his decision a ‘big miracle’.
