Evangelist John Kay met with fellow singer Ken Kijana alias Ndeke ya Muthanga over the weekend.
On his Facebook page, Ndeke disclosed that he had a tete atete with the renowned musician over the state of gospel music in Ukambani.
Ndeke said that John Kay advised him to avoid getting embroiled in meaningless drama and serve the lord with all sincerity.
Ndeke however said that it is impossible for him not to respond when someone hits out at him.
“I asked John Kay what I have to do to be the fourth person in their group of three. He told me I should not speak when someone speaks against me but that is not easy for me, pray for me to change,” Ndeke posted.
This comes just a day after MCSK boss Ezekiel Mutua warned artists to avoid engaging in abusive language and beefs.
According to Mutua the fights witnessed between artists only hurt their brands that they have built for years.
