Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has thrown shade at Wiper allied MCAs over pthe lot to impeach the Machakos county assembly speaker Ann Kiusya.
Speaking at a burial in Sengani, Mule criticized the MCAs for defying directives from Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
He warned that their ongoing clashes with the Speaker would only hinder development, ultimately disadvantaging the electorate.
“You must remember that the people who elected you expect development, and these constant clashes with the Speaker will only end up hurting them,” said Mule.
He noted that the MCAs should not accept to be paid to advance other people’s agendas.
The lawmaker said that the MCAs should be cautious and remember the electorate is watching their moves.
“Remember the people who elected you are watching, and after five years you will come back to them and show them what you did,” he cautioned.
Last week, over 30 Machakos MCAs signed an impeachment motion against County Assembly Speaker Ann Kiusya. Missed the story? Check it out below;
