Fortune Mwikali Ngwangwa’s husband Joel has narrated how a simple “mayai boil” secured him a wife.
In a video shared by Fortune Mwikali, Joel who is referred to as Kindu wa Mukuli said that he met Fortune in 2015 in a matatu where he asked her to sit by his side and bought her a boiled egg thus marking the journey of their relationship.
“I was coming from Mwingi Town and as I was on the bus I saw a beautiful girl enter the bus and I told her to come sit here with me. That was back in 2015 and I told the guys who hawk boiled eggs to give one to her and that’s how our conversation started, “Joel narrated.
Fortune’s husband revealed that they had a child together while he was in campus and then after that, she went missing due to lack of communication because of her celebrity status.
He went ahead to say that despite their loss of communication fortune’s mother was in touch with him reminding him not to let go of his child with Fortune.
“We had a child together while I was in campus and after campus we lost touch because of her celebrity status and you know I am a businessman so we lost in touch,” Joel narrated.
“I was however in touch with her mother. She really loves me I can say she has contributed 50 percent in this relationship to be where it is, she used to call and tell me that am the father of the kid even if we are not in touch,” he added.
Fortune and her husband got married in an exquisite invite-only wedding that brought together celebrities at a Nairobi hotel.
