PSC Commissioner Johnson Muthama has asked Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi to move with speed and rescue a Kamba woman kidnapped in Congo.
The 45-year-old woman identified as Florence Wanza hailing from Machakos county was kidnapped by one of the coalition forces in Kinshasha.
The woman is a truck driver and was abducted on 27th August this year. In a Facebook post, Muthama said that Mudavadi the Cabinet secretary of foreign affairs should ensure this woman is back safely.
“I am asking Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, who also serves as the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs, to urgently secure the release of Grace Wanza Munyao, a Kenyan citizen and truck driver who was kidnapped by the FDLR, one of Kinshasa’s coalition forces, on August 27, 2024,” read his post.
According to the letter shared on his Facebook page the local group has been connected with a lot of looting, and kidnapping thus continuing to threaten agricultural activities.
