A man from Kitui who was ready to sacrifice his wife and two kids after being pranked in Nairobi has opened up.
Fredrick Kasimbi from Endau says that he grew up in Kitui but used to visit Nairobi occasionally when his mother worked as a maid in Westlands.
In an interview, the 50-year-old man said in 1997 after school he came to Nairobi to look for work but things were not easy.
“I came to look for Mjengo then became a painter and later a security guard. I did all jobs I could get to cater to the needs of my family,” Fredrick said.
Fredrick narrated that when he met prankster Nicki Big Fish he was going on with his job as a Parking attendant at Alliance Francaise.
He claimed that he was through a lot of problems and that is why he said that he was ready to join Illuminati and give his wife and two kids for sacrifice.
On going back home chaos brewed at home because his wife had been shown the video by a friend.
“I found her sad and my daughter who is in class eight crying. They couldn’t believe I can give them up because of wealth. My wife almost went back to her parents but I pleaded with her and told my family it was just a prank for video nothing serious,” he narrated.
His job was affected too as those coming to Park their vehicles avoided tipping him.
“They told me I have joined Illuminati and I may sacrifice them too so they won’t give me money. This hurt me and kept me thinking because this is where I earn money to cater for my kids’ school fees and other things,” noted Kasimbi.
He however got start-up capital from a taxi company named Faras to begin a Mitumba business.
