Gospel artist Stephen Kasolo has revealed the amount he received as pay for backing up Zipporah Eric in the Eteela song.
During an interview on Kamba Tv, Kasolo said that he has tried to work with several Kamba gospel singers but they have failed to appreciate him.
The singer disclosed that he backed up the Matelemya hitmaker in her first song Eetela but to his shock, he was paid Ksh. 1,000.
“I have mentored a lot of singers in Ukambani but they have never acknowledged me in any way, I was the voice behind Eetela by Zipporah Eric but I was shocked to be paid 1,000,” said Kasolo.
The Kitole Hitmaker went on to claim that he is a brand even if he went a day without posting on his youtube he would still pay his bills because his channel has more subscribers than some of the local Tv Stations.
“Kasolo is a brand. My YouTube Channel has more subscribers than most of the local Tv Stations. Even if I go a day without posting anything on my Youtube I will still be able to pay my bills. God is good,” Kasolo added.
