At the time of publishing, “Kindu Wakingi” by Stella Mengele was trending at Number 4 with over 180,000 views, making it the most popular Kamba song on YouTube. The song’s success underscores Mengele’s growing influence in the Kamba music scene.
“Vatulu” by Wilberforce Musyoka featuring Beatrice Muraimu is 5th with over 230,000 views 10 days after its release.. This catchy collaboration has resonated with audiences, securing its place at the top.
“Makulyo Ma Clinic” by Biez Kaviru is trending at Number 11 with over 131,000 views a week after its release.
Zipporah Eric’s “Maundu Muka Mafia” has also captured listeners’ attention, racking up over 125,000 views and trending at number 13. The song’s blend of traditional and contemporary Kamba sounds has made it a favorite.
“Nitwainga Muingo” by Stephen Kasolo follows at Number 24 on Top Trending, with over 133,000 views, and continues to be a beloved track among Kamba music enthusiasts. Kasolo released the lyrics video ahead of his album launch a fortnight ago.
Kana Nicko, the self-proclaimed “King of Rumba,” has made his mark with “Andu Ma Ndunia,” at Number 25 adding another hit to his repertoire with over 151,000 views.
Trending at Number 2027 is “Nenda Salama” by Stephen kasolo. This seven-minute tribute song to the late Mbaitu FM radio presenter, Mercy Wawia, has garnered over 325,000 views. The emotional tribute video was shot during Mercy’s burial.
