Ruto appoints Regina Ndambuki, Mbangula to State Corporations

Former Kilome MP Regina Ndambuki and Former Hospital ward MCA Patrick Musili Mbangula are among the latest appointees to state corporations.

In a Gazette notice dated 10th February 2023, Regina was appointed to chair the Board of Directors of Tanathi Water Works Development Agency.

“In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 (3) of the state Corporations Act, I, William Samoei Ruto, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, appoint Regina Ndambuki to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Tanathi Water
Works Development Agency, with effect from the 10th of February, 2023 up to the 4th of July, 2025. The appointment of William ole Maiyani is revoked.” The Gazette notice read.

In the 2022 General elections, Regina vied for Kilome MP on a UDA ticket and got 1,246 votes. Thaddeus Nzambia of Wiper carried the day after getting 16,058 votes followed by Julius Tangai with 9774 votes and Jones Nzioka with 413 votes. Other candidates who were vying include John Mutinda an independent candidate who got 3287 votes.

Former Hospital Ward Patrick Musili Mbangula was appointed to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Athi Water Works Development Agency.

“In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 (3) of the State Corporations Act, I, William Samoei Ruto, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, appoint Patrick Musili to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Athi Water Works
Development Agency, with effect from the 10th of February 2023 up to the 6th August 2023. The appointment* of Beryl Okumu is revoked.” The Gazette notice went on.
