Mwangangi explains what will happen to Kalonzo if Raila gets AU job

Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi says Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has a shot at the presidency if Azimio leader Raila Odinga bags the African Union (AU) job.

Speaking in Tala, Mwangangi noted that if Raila is out of the race then Kalonzo will have a better chance to secure the presidential seat because he will be having a lot of backing.

“I will go on my knees and pray that Raila Odinga clinches the AU job because if he does then we will be sure that our son Kalonzo Musyoka will get the presidency,” said Mwangangi.

Mwangangi had accompanied Governor Wavinya Ndeti to launch the county bursary fund amounting to sh.120m where he urged leaders from the region to forge unity of purpose.

According to the DG, the fights in the Ukambani region should be unheard of if there is hope for Kalonzo to vie for the presidency.

“There should be no fights among us, we must show a united front to other regions because our dream seems clear, “he added

Raila had disclosed that he is interested in the AU job and began lobbying from all 55 nations in Africa.
