Makau asks Bishop Kingoo to intervene in Machakos leadership wrangles

Mavoko MP Patrick Makau has asked Bishop Norman Kingoo to intervene in the wrangles between the county Assembly and the executive.

Speaking at the burial of Philomena Mule in Matungulu on Saturday, Makau called for a truce between the Machakos County Assembly and the executive for the Assembly to reopen.

“Bishop Noman Kingoo is a factual man; if he speaks to the Governor and asks her to call the Assembly to order. It will be called to order.” Makau said.

“Because the Governor is a Catholic, let her be asked to open the county assembly. No war cannot end when people talk.” He added.

Makau also reiterated that he will be on the ballot vying as Machakos Governor in 2027, asking the current County leadership to draw lessons from his classes when he was campaigning in 2022.
