Kalonzo Musyoka has asked Kitui County Assembly speaker Kinengo Katisya to follow the orders of the Wiper Party. The party had earlier announced the change of leadership within the county Assembly.
Kalonzo disclosed that he is not happy with leadership wrangles within the Kitui County Assembly as the majority of the MCA’s are under the wiper party.
Speaking during a burial ceremony in Kyuso, Mwingi North the wiper boss reiterated that Kinengo should embrace unity within the county Assembly members.
“Speaker Kinengo what you need to do is to follow what the party says because you are one of us,” Kalonzo said.
In his remarks, Kinengo urged the MCAs to work with unity. He acknowledged Kitui County Assembly leadership wrangles within the wiper party.
“The court gave its orders earlier this year, and said as the case is under investigation, the MCAs who were to vacate their position should carry on until the court makes final judgment.” Stated Kinengo.
Kinengo pleaded with county Assembly wiper leadership to remain calm and wait for the court ruling.
