Speaking at a function in Kalembwani, Maanzo said that Kalonzo will be OKA’s flag bearer in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He noted that for a long time Kalonzo and the Ukambani region has been backing up other candidates to vie for the presidency and now it was time the favor is retributed to him.

“We have been supporting other candidates for years, we backed Raila Odinga and got nothing. Shockingly during the handshake, he went alone and ate alone. We supported Moi and Kibaki also,” said Maanzo.

“There is nothing else Raila can do now other than say Kalonzo Tosha. We did our part let him do his,” he added.
