Former Kitui Senator David Musila has told off Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka after he criticized a section of Ukambani leaders who went to Statehouse a fortnight ago.
Speaking at Madaraka day celebrations held at Nguutani, Musila tore into Kalonzo following remarks the former vice president made criticizing the leaders.
“I’m not a Wiper member. Go lecture your party people, not me. And for the record—I’m not even your agemate!” Musila declared.

While insisting he respects Kalonzo as a person, Musila was adamant that the Wiper leader had overstepped his mandate.
“I respect Kalonzo,” he said, “but he has no business speaking ill of me.”
The remarks have set off a fresh political storm in the region, exposing long-standing feud between the two leaders.
Last weekend, Kalonzo told off leaders who visited Statehouse to lobby for development. Missed it? Check the video on our Tiktok channel below;
