A mentally challenged woman from Uvaini village in Kithimani, Yatta sub-county has committed suicide.
Confirming the incident Yatta sub-county Police Commander Jane Makau said that the lady was found hanging at a bush near her home.
Her body was taken to Yatta Funeral home for preservation awaiting postmortem.
In the same sub-county police have launched investigations over the death of a 35-year-old man who was found killed in Kondo village, Kithimani.
According to the Yatta Sub-county police boss the man’s body was found dumped at an abandoned restaurant in Kondo Market.
The sub-county police boss revealed that the man had wounds on his head.
Police have taken the body of the deceased to Yatta Funeral Home for preservation awaiting postmortem as police launch investigations.
