We will use Kithitu justice system over EAPCC land-Senator Kavindu

Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu says the Kamba community will use its traditional justice system ‘Kithitu’ to get justice over the EAPCC land if the government does not address the issue.

Speaking at Kangundo Kavindu noted that it was unfair for the Kamba community to be evicted from their land while the government was silent.

“I am saved and I know there is  God in heaven who can fight for his people. I also know that the Kambas who are not saved and don’t know about God have their traditions that can bring them justice,” said Kavindu.

“If these people continue troubling us we will go the Kithitu way which will ensure anyone involved dies, even if they are your children,” she added.

The EAPCC land saga has raised temperatures among leaders from the Ukambani region and beyond.

Hundreds of residents living on the land have been rendered homeless as their houses have been demolished.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation summoned Mavoko MP Patrick Makau and 29 others over the issues at the land.

In a letter seen by Mauvoo News, many of the members living there were duped into buying the land by fraudsters.

The affected members were also advised to report to the Athi River police station while carrying the documents they were given while buying the land.
