Machakos county Senator Agnes Kavindu has told off Former Machakos Tourism and Sports Chief officer Henry Carlos Kioko.
In a recording that has gone Viral, Kavindu is heard reprimanding Kioko for criticizing her job and calling her uneducated.
She said Kioko was in Mutua’s Government which performed poorly but not a single day did he speak about it.
“I want to tell you that you were in Former Governor Alfred Mutua’s government, he had employed 60 percent of people from outside the county while only 40 percent were locals but you never spoke about it. I want to tell you to be silent the way you were, ” said Kavindu.
The fierce senator noted that Kioko failed when he vied for the Senatorial seat in 2017 on a Maendeleo Chap Chap ticker and should keep his cool instead until the next elections.
“In 2017 you vied for the senatorial seat and didn’t even get 20,000 while I was elected with over 150,000 votes. I know my work and you and your associates won’t teach it to me,” she roared.
Kioko had said Kavindu is a mistake that would cost the people of Machakos big time.
“Sen. Kavindu is a mistake that will cost the people of Machakos big time. She is the most retrogressive personality in the senate. Has no clue. The people of Machakos desire a Senator who raises to the occasion. Yeah. Machakos is better than Kivindu. God rescue us.” Kioko said in a Facebook post.
