Kangundo West Ward MCA Kaloki Ikusya has come out guns blazing at Machakos senator Agnes Kavindu saying that she shouldn’t launch a war on MCAs.
Speaking at Uthini in Kangundo sub-county, Kaloki said that the senator had no right to say that the MCAs had failed and that they deserved to be sacked as they were not doing their work.
” You want to abuse us and we are elected leaders, you never chose us the people are the ones who elected us. How can you say we deserted the County Assembly and we should all be sacked, what are you driving at,” he said.
“You should be worried about if you will retain your seat in the upcoming elections and quit fighting us for we are not interested in your seat,” he added.
The Maendeleo chap chap secretary-general noted the senator did not win rather she was appointed after all BBI affiliated parties were called on to produce one candidate and Katuku withdrew for Kavindu to win.
“You never won the senatorial seat, we were called with Katuku and told by the president that all BBI affiliated parties should produce one candidate and that is how our candidate withdrew from the race, it must go on record that you didn’t win,” said Ikusya.
Towards the end of Last Year, Agnes Kavindu said Machakos MCAs and the speaker had failed in their work and were to be blamed for the mess in the county.
