Renowned Kamba gospel artist Stephen Kasolo has publicly pledged to change his ways and pursue peace with his fellow musicians.
The singer admitted that he has struggled with managing his emotions in the past, but he is now committed to self-improvement.
Speaking candidly through his Tiktok live, Kasolo acknowledged the need for support and encouragement, especially during difficult moments. He revealed that his ‘mother’, Mrs. Musambi, has been instrumental in guiding him on how to handle his frustrations.
“I need people to encourage me when I’m angry and advise me too. My mom, Mrs Musambi, has always told me to either keep quiet or call her whenever I feel upset. I promise that I have changed,” Kasolo shared.
The artist further promised that moving forward, he will choose silence and leave everything to God, even when provoked. He admitted that lashing out at others has only tarnished his brand and hurt his fans, which is something he no longer wants to continue.
“Many of my fans cried with me when I cried and are even saying they will call Stella to forgive you…If there is someone who wronged me, I have forgiven them, I will withdraw the case against my brother (Ndeke). As fans, be positive, let us preach the gospel.” Kasolo said.
On Sunday, the singer and his family went down on their knees to plead with Stella Mengele for forgiveness. On a TikTok live, Kasolo also pleaded with Mengele to forgive her.
With this new resolution, Kasolo hopes to inspire his supporters and fellow musicians by setting a positive example of patience and humility.
