Gospel singer Stella Mengele has had enough, she is taking fellow artist Stephen Kasolo to court over what she calls damaging and false accusations against her character.
In a fiery live TikTok session, Mengele declared that she has officially initiated legal proceedings against Kasolo, citing repeated instances of defamation.
Kasolo has allegedly spread damaging rumors, including claims that Mengele left her husband for Ndeke ya Muthanga, a young artist she mentors.
He has also accused her of being the mastermind behind Ndeke’s online attacks on fellow musicians and being involved in other unsavory dealings within the industry.
Visibly frustrated, Mengele vowed to pursue justice, no matter how long it takes.
“I have reached my limit. Let’s settle this in court since you claim to have powerful connections. Even if it takes years, I will wait because there is a God in heaven,” she stated.
“I spent this day translating your insults and videos to my lawyer because he is not a Kamba. Know the process has begun,” she added.
Stella Mengele clarified that her marriage remains intact, though she chooses to keep it out of the limelight. However, she will not allow anyone to use that as an excuse to spread baseless rumors.
Defending Ndeke, she emphasized that he is like a son to her, and while she will not abandon him, she will ensure he stops attacking people online.
Mengele also urged Ndeke to apologize to those he has wronged, warning him that actions have consequences.
“Even the songs you’re making just to trend, be careful. When people cheer you on while you do wrong, they won’t be there when your image is ruined. You will never get business with a tainted reputation,” Stella warned.
“Stop the attacks not because of me but because of the money you make from business, every rich person hates drama,” she added.
