Kasolo reignites beef with Stella Mengele

Stephen Kasolo has taken a swipe at fellow singer Stella Mengele, accusing her of turning a blind eye to the questionable actions of Ken Kijana Ndeke ya Muthanga.

Kasolo taking to Tiktok, criticized Mengele for only speaking out when she is personally attacked but remaining silent when other artists are dragged into controversy.

“If Stella had not been mentioned on Obina’s show, she wouldn’t have responded. But if I were in that situation, she would have kept quiet,” Kasolo remarked.

He further alleged that Mengele openly supports Ndeke even when he strays from the values expected in gospel music.

“You keep clapping for your ‘son’ even when he is in the wrong. That’s not mentorship—it’s enabling bad behavior,” Kasolo stated.

Kasolo also questioned Ndeke’s commitment to gospel music, arguing that he should consider switching to secular music if he continues down the same path.

“My spiritual mother, Jane Mwanzia, would be held accountable if I strayed and she failed to correct me. But all you do is defend Ndeke, whether he is right or wrong. That is the highest level of hypocrisy,” he declared.

Kasolo’s remarks are a clear indication that his beef with Mengele has been reignited.
