Kitui County Assembly speaker Kelvin Kinengo Katisya has accused Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka of using a section of the MCAs to fight his leadership.
Kinengo said that the Wiper party is not objective and has shown favoritism to some of the members while sidelining others.
He noted that MCA’s under the Wiper party have been doing all they can to frustrate his work as a speaker.
“I’m not happy, I am facing a lot of fights from my own party Wiper. I have chosen to work with all the 60 MCAs but those from Wiper have been fighting me and to make it worse instead of the Wiper leadership warning them, it also starts fighting me,” said Kinengo.
“If they want to kick me out let them do that because there are many parties. I will fight to the end but if things get worse I will have no other option but to leave,” he added.
Kinengo claimed the leaders fighting him were afraid that he may occupy bigger political seats in the future due to his leadership.
Recently Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka threw shade at the speaker asking him to adhere to Wiper party rules after expressing dissatisfaction about the leadership wrangles in the assembly. Missed the story? Check it out below
