Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has called upon all the Kamba leaders to unite with ODM leader Raila Odinga and give him full support to form the next government.
Speaking during the opening of Masjid Noor Mosque in Kitui town, Ngilu stated that, “We the Kamba community don’t want to be out of the next government again after the 2022 general elections. And I want to tell you who will make us be in the next government is none other than Raila Odinga.”
“I want people to unite and if we keep waiting there is nowhere we will go without Raila.” She added.
The vocal ‘mama Rainbow’ also mentioned that there are a lot of jobless people in the country especially the youth and Raila promised to solve the problem of unemployment when elected as the President of Kenya.
“Raila will do what we call Social-democracy to ensure equal job opportunities to all. Social is whereby you’ll be given Ksh. 6,000 while at home waiting to get employed,” Ngilu disclosed.
Ngilu also urged all the residents of Kitui to register as voters for those who never registered. Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu welcomed Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, Jomvu MP Badi Twalib Bady, and Suleiman Shahbal in Kitui for the opening of the now biggest mosque in Kitui county Masjid noor.
