Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has hit a Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu for always pushing the Kamba community to support ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking to Mwingi residents after commissioning the construction of the Enziu river bridge, he said that Governor Ngilu should remain silent instead of going every time telling people to support Raila since the Kamba community didn’t send her to negotiate on behalf of them.

Kalonzo nearly lost his temper and started addressing residents in his ‘Ngura’ accent telling Governor Ngilu to shut her mouth, “Tell Ngilu to shut her ‘Murumu’ (mouth). Which Kamba people sent her to campaign for Raila? I don’t have any issue with her but let her shut her ‘murumu’.

Kalonzo said that he wants to unite the Kamba community to speak in one voice. “I want the people to speak in one voice, Kaluki congratulated me for getting out of the Mudavadi’s event in Bomas and told me I did the right thing and that is good because she is the Kitui Governor and thus she should speak what I say.”

Kalonzo also stated that there is no day that Raila Odinga will be the president of Kenya without Kalonzo’s support and thus he will stay tough till the last minute because that is the only way. He also promised the residents that he will be holding a mega rally in Kitui on Thursday (27th January 2022) to agree with the people of Kitui.

Kalonzo will address the residents in Kalundu and later converge at the Kitui stadium.

Kalonzo was accompanied by Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, Kitui women representative Dr.Irene Kasalu, Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna, Mwingi Central Mp Gideon Mulyungi, and former Kitui Governor Dr.Julius Malombe.
