A man aged 34 years old was arrested after being found in possession of bhang worth 1.2 Million in Mwala, Machakos County.
Confirming the incident Mwala Subcounty Police Commander Nancy Jerobon said that the man known as Munyao Munyoki had planted bhang in his home at Itikwi village, Kaitha sublocation in Wamunyu location.
The police report seen by Mauvoo News revealed that the bhang had been planted in a three-quarter acre piece of land where police found 327 plants weighing 308 kilograms.
“Mr. Munyao Munyoki Kivwea aged 34 years for having cultivated bhang in three-quarters of an acre of land, a total of 327 plants uprooted weighing about 308 kilograms, 98 brooms weighing about 6kgs and processed bhang weighing about 4 kilograms of all approximate street value of Kshs 1.2 Million,” read the police report.
