Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) commissioner and former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has hinted at returning to ODM.
Speaking in Homabay during the burial of Kasipul Kabondo MP Ong’ondo Were Muthama, also praised Raila as a peacemaker who has brought stability from the Moi Government to the Ruto Government.
He also disclosed that he recently visited Raila, who gave him political blessings.
“To Raila, a man I wished to be president of Kenya for 10 years, I thank you. I recently came to seek your blessings, not like Nicodemus at night but during the day. ” Muthama said.
“Raila, you are a gift. Moi in 1997 looked for you for his government to stand. In 2002, Kibaki looked for you to endorse him, in 2007, you raised your hand, and calm came to Kenya. In 2017 as well, we and Ruto have tried running the country without yo,u but we didn’t succeed until you came and the nation healed.” Muthama added.
The former Machakos Senator added that when he returns to the ODM Party they would give him back his position.
“Because you are a gift, when I came to your place, I said Raila should continue stepping on the accelerator of peace. Kasipul people, I will come again and with Raila, and he will give me back my position in the team(ODM,) and I will play until we score.” He concluded.
