Police in Ndithini, Masinga have arrested a 25-year-old for stabbing her 33-year-old boyfriend to death.
According to a police report seen by Mauvoo News, Meshack Muthama was stabbed in his left-hand wrist by his girlfriend with a sharp object.
Police got a report from the deceased father and rushed to the scene and found that the man had bled profusely and rushed him to Kimbimbi Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
“It was reported by one Isaiah Munyoto Mbewa that his son namely Meshack Muthama Munyoto aged 33 years (now deceased) was attacked by his girlfriend last night within Kwa Muthike area near Tana Bridge,” read the Police report.
“He was allegedly stabbed in the left-hand wrist part with a sharp object which led to profuse bleeding. He was rushed to Kimbimbi Hospital within Mwea -Subcounty and was pronounced dead on arrival,” the report went on.
The body was taken to Karira Funeral Home in Kirinyaga County for preservation as sleuths launch investigations.
The suspect is held at Ndithini Police Station awaiting to be arraigned in court.
