Police in Yatta Sub-county have arrested the Former Senior Chief of Ndalani Location for assaulting his wife.
According to a police report seen by Mauvoo News, the Retired Senior Chief namely Peter Muia Musila beat his wife after a domestic quarrel.
The wife aged 42 years got a fracture on her hand and both her eyes were seriously injured to the point she couldn’t see and was rushed to Matuu Level 4 Hospital for treatment.
“Today at about 14.30 hours, the above lady namely Elizabeth Mueni aged 42 years was today evening beaten by her husband namely Peter Muia Musila aged 60 years who is a retired senior chief of Ndalani Location after a domestic quarrel at their home in Ndalani,” read the report.
” The lady got a fracture on her right hand and both eyes. She cannot see as of now and she is being escorted by a relative whenever she walks, she is being treated at Matuu Level 4 Hospital, the suspect will be arraigned in court today,”the report went on.
