A 43-year-old man is nursing knife injuries at Machakos Level 5 after being stabbed on the back by his neighbour.
Confirming the incident Ikombe Assistant Chief Antony Ndolo said that the man was stabbed at night by his neighbour. The motive to stab the man was yet to be established.
The Assistant Chief revealed that the victim was at home when his neighbour came with a knife and stabbed him several times on the back and disappeared.
“We received reports from neighbours about a man who was stabbed severally on the back by his neighbour and he ran away. The stabbed man was rushed to hospital but later he was referred to Machakos Level 5,” said the Assistant chief.
The man who was rushed to Ikombe Health Centre was later rushed to Machakos Level 5 Hospital while police launched investigations to determine the cause of the attack.
The man is still lurking as police and residents look for him to be apprehended.
