A 60-year-old man was on Tuesday night stabbed to death in Katwanyaa, Matungulu sub-county of Machakos county.
David Mukiti Kambusu Assistant Chief confirmed the sad incident stating that the old man was living alone at the time of the incident.
Mukiti noted that the man was stabbed several times by an unknown person stating that the incident happened at around 3 am.
“The man is called Nzomo Kavita he was found in his house dead, stabbed severally. He lived alone with no wife or kids. After learning about the incident we notified the police who came and took the body,” said Mukiti.
He noted that some people have been interrogated concerning the incident.
The body was moved to Kangundo level four hospital mortuary for preservation as investigations into the incident commenced.
