A section of Wiper MCAs from Kitui county have trashed claims that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is using them to fight the Speaker Kelvin Katisya Kinengo.
Led by Kyuso MCA Munywoki Mwinzi and Kitui township ward MCA Daniel Ngoima they said that Kinengo should apologize to the party leader for his remarks.
They added that involving Kalonzo in the squabbles witnessed in the Kitui County Assembly was merely an act of downgrading the Azimio coalition principal.
“Whatever is happening in our assembly is what happens in other assemblies, it’s not new and if a leader has failed in their jurisdiction they can be changed and that doesn’t mean one is being fought,” said Mwinzi.
Mwinzi alleged that the speaker has been the one fighting Wiper party MCAs and removing them from committee leadership for reasons not known.
MCA Ngoima on the other hand noted that Kalonzo should not be involved in petty politics that don’t concern him.
“It is either the speaker was misinformed or he lacked something he could speak in church and he should apologize immediately,” said Ngoima.
Over the weekend Speaker Kinengo had threatened to leave the Wiper party on claims that Kalonzo was using MCAs to frustrate his leadership in the assembly. Missed the story? check it out below;
