Kamba Benga artist releases song about Shakahola

It is said that Kamba Artists do not waste time in releasing songs based on what is happening.

Last year, Musyoki Kasee alias Shock released a song about former Presidential Candidate and Roots Party Leader George Wajackoyah.

The Kalandini Boys Band leader has released another song dubbed Shakahola that speaks about the happenings at Shakahola in Kilifi County.

In the song, he talks about Pastor Mackenzie who has shocked the world with his cultic teachings.

According to the singer, even the Devil himself is dumbfounded by the act of the controversial preacher.

“Shakahola has become more famous than Rose Coco, than Millicent Omanga, everyone in Kenya is talking about Pastor Mackenzie, in the Radios and Televisions it’ s all about Pastor Mackenzie,” says part of his song.

“Mackenzie shocks even the devil making him say ‘What is this’. Telling his followers not to eat while he is well fed, not to drink water yet he takes mineral water,” says the singer in another stanza.

Pastor Paul Mackenzie is accused of leading a cult where several of his followers have died while fasting to see ‘Jesus’ while others were rescued looking emaciated.

The preacher is also linked to the Shakahola mass graves where over 100 bodies were exhumed.
