Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has issued a stern warning that the country’s present and future are at great peril due to ongoing human rights violations under the Kenya Kwanza administration.
Through his X account, Musyoka accused the government of systematically abusing the constitutional rights of Kenyans over the past two years.
He specifically alleged that rogue elements within President William Ruto’s administration have committed heinous acts, including the abduction, kidnapping, and execution of Kenyan youth whose only crime was peacefully exercising their right to protest under Article 37 of the Constitution.
“These are crimes against humanity,” Musyoka declared, calling the actions of the state “inexplicable violations of moral and civic responsibilities against Kenyans, Africans, and members of the Free and Democratic world.”
The Wiper leader expressed grave concern over what he termed an assault on the dreams of Kenya’s founding leaders.
He argued that the vision of a democratic, progressive, and inclusive republic—where all voices, regardless of background, could be heard—was under severe threat.
“As a matter of conscience, I demand that Mr. Ruto accept political and socio-economic responsibility for the brazen atrocities committed against our youth,” Musyoka stated, pointing directly at the president for the ongoing abuses.
He also called for immediate accountability, demanding that the rogue police officers responsible for the alleged abductions and executions be brought to justice.
Musyoka insisted that these actions if left unchecked, would lead to the “dismemberment and destruction” of Kenya’s future.
