Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has declared Kamba community is ready to rejoin the GEMA alliance ( Gikuyu, Embu, Meru Akamba).
Kalonzo made the statement during a meeting held on Thursday at Ruaka with the Kikuyu and the Kamba council of elders.
“My great Agenda is to focus on bridging the historical gap between Kikuyu and Kamba community, and the addition of the Kamba community within GEMA.” Said Kalonzo.
He urged Kikuyu elders to remain united, mentioning there would be no difference between the Kikuyu and Kamba communities.
I’m delighted to be here today to deliberate key issues affecting our people and this will not end here. I will continue reaching out to more community leadership in Mount Kenya. I will reach out to Meru council as well as Njuri Ncheke.” The wiper leader added.
Kalonzo further mentioned that he is ready to remain in opposition to fight for human rights.
Matungulu Member of Parliament Stephen Mule said the Kamba community will do what it takes to be among the GEMA alliance.
“Inclusion of Kamba community within GEMA framework, would enhance growth and bring unity within Mt Kenya,” he added
The wiper boss was accompanied by ukambani leaders Boni Mwalika ( MP Kitui Rural), Gideon Mulyungi (Mwingi Central), Musila Mawathe (Embakasi South MP), Enock Wambua (Kitui Senator) and Daniel Maanzo (Makueni Senator)
