Former Health CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi has landed a Job at the Nairobi County Government.
Mercy has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Pumwani Hospital Board by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.
Mercy’s appointment was made through a Gazette notice on Friday and is effective from 24th April 2023 for a period of 3 years.
Other members appointed to the board are; Saidi Motokaa, Evalyne Ikwii Omasaja, Zahra Mohammed, Ustadh Hassan Ali Amin, and Ali Joram Juma Mkwambaa.
Mercy in 2022 also served as a member of a task force formed to review and propose reforms to the health sector in Nairobi County.
In December 2022, she was appointed as the Director of Health Systems Strengthening at Amref Health Africa, Kenya office.
