The Eastern Region Secondary Schools Term 1 Games are set to commence at Machakos School from the 21st – 23rd of March 2024 featuring an array of sports teams showcasing the prowess of budding talents from across the region.
The rugby 15’s tournament promises exhilarating clashes as teams are divided into two competitive pools in Pool A we will witness All Saints Boys, Miathene Boys, Kitondo School, and Chogoria Boys. Pool B has Kitui School, Dakabaricha High, Machakos School, and Isiolo.
In basketball, both boys and girls categories are brimming with anticipation as Pool A of the Boys basketball will hold Kajiuduthi, Lukenya, Mbooni Boys and Kangaru School with Pool B having Marsabit, Isiolo, Kanyangi, and Meru School. Girls Basketball Pool A will comprise Kirigara, Siakago, Isiolo, and Marsabit as Pool B will be having Kyasioni-, Clay International, Ikutha, and Chogoria
Handball enthusiasts can expect intense showdowns as well as for the Boys’ Handball teams as Pool B will be having Mbooni, Isiolo, Matuu Day, and Marsabit with Pool B having Kajuiduthi, Meru School, Kalonzo, and Kevote. In the Girls Handball Pool A we will be having Kieganguru, Muvitha, Marsabit, and Munyuni, and in Pool B Kwanthanze, Meru, Kyeni and Isiolo
