Kangundo MP Fabian Kyule Muli has thrown shade at Ex-Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i’s ambition to head this country.
Speaking at Makindu during a women’s Empowerment fundraising, the Grand Dream Development Party(GDDP) leader alleged that during Matiang’i’s era as Interior CS, many injustices were committed, and thus, he was not fit to lead Kenya.
He went on to reveal that Matiang’i was the only cabinet secretary who had refused to appear before the court when summoned, showing disrespect for the rule of law.
“The only cabinet secretary with court summons in the country, and has never honoured them. How does he expect to run a country when he is hard-headed (Kichwa Ngumu)? He is the only man who gave Miguna Miguna poison, only for him to recover in Dubai,” MP Fabian alleged.
“During his period as the cabinet secretary for the Interior Ministry, instead of people being given IDs and birth certificates, he was busy stealing from Kenyans. He destabilised the education system of Kenya by introducing a costly education,” The Kangundo MP further alleged.
Other leaders who attended the event are President Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet, Senate Speaker Amason Kingi, Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka, and the host, Kibwezi MP Mwengi Mutuse, among other leaders.
