UDA Leaders message to Raila ahead of demos

Ahead of Monday’s Azimio Demos over the high cost of living, UDA leaders have sent out a message to Raila Odinga.

Speaking during a recruitment exercise at Machakos university, UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala said as Raila Odinga holds a demonstration to go to Statehouse they shall be holding theirs towards Raila’s Karen Home.

“I want to tell Raila that if he thinks he has the people then let him go to statehouse on Monday. As he goes we shall be going to his house in Karen. He can’t think that he will go to our home and we fail to go to his,” Malala said.

“Mama Ida ensure that on Monday you cook enough tea because we shall be camping at your home, we too have the people and we are coming to Raila’s home on Monday for breakfast, lunch, and tea,” he added.

His words were echoed by UDA National Organizing Secretary and Mwala MP Vincent Musyoka alias Kawaya who said that Raila’s time of threatening leaders for a handshake was long gone and it’s time he rested.

“We are tired of your threats. Pack your things and go home. Not every time you shall be threatening leaders to get power, your time is long gone. Give us the time we deliver our promises to Kenyans,” said Kawaya.

Leaders present in the recruitment drive were Japheth Nyakundi UDA’s National treasurer, Nominated Senator Gloria Orwoba, CAS Victor Munyaka, Murang’a Women Representative Betty Njeri Maina, Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi among other UDA leaders.
