Third-term MP and Ruto ally Victor Munyaka speaks after losing Machakos MP seat

Machakos Constituency MP Dr. Victor Munyaka has spoken hours after losing the election to Caleb Mule Mutiso of Maendeleo Chap chap party.

According to IEBC results Caleb Mule won with 47,596 votes with Munyaka following with 20,000 Votes. Paul Museku of Wiper was third with 2,533 votes followed by Job Nyumu of CCU with 331.

Benjamin Munyao had 206 votes and Benson Mutinda Mwanza garnered 132 votes.

Taking to Social media, Munyaka said,” Accept that you have lost but never accept that you have failed. You can make up for loss later but when you accept failure, it is over for you. In every adversity there lies the seed of an equivalent advantage. In every defeat is a lesson showing you how to win the victory next time.”

The UDA Candidate congratulated Caleb on the win and wished him the best as he serves the people of the constituency.

“I take this Opportunity to Congratulate Caleb Mutiso Mule for Winning the Machakos Town constituency seat. It was a stiff competition and Machakos town constituency people have decided. I wish you all the best as you serve Machakos Town constituency people from where I left. Congratulations once again.” Munyaka added.

Caleb Mutiso Mule served as the MCA for Muvuti/Kiima Kimwe ward before switching to MP.
