Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka has endorsed Bernard Muteti Mung’ata for the Machakos Senator Seat.

According to Munyaka, Mung’ata is the best-qualified candidate for the senatorial seat, since he has a good leadership track record.

“Mung’ata was a speaker here in Machakos and I know him well. A lot of development here in Machakos was done during his tenure, but when he left, we got lost and we see nothing moving on here in Machakos.”Munyaka said.

Speaking at Kalama, Machakos Town Constituency during Madaraka Day Celebrations, Munyaka insisted that the senatorial seat is a key one and not to be joked around with, saying that someone serious should take the position.

“You qualify for the seat you are vying for. The senator position needs a professional, visioned, and determined position. You have enough experience for the position.Ama mnasemaje watu wa Kalama?”Munyaka added.

Bernard Mung’ata is in Maendeleo Chap Chap and Victor Munyaka is in UDA party which are both in Kenya Kwanza coalition. During his address Mung’ata thanked Munyaka for the endorsement.

“My brother Munyaka has said it clearly that am the best fit for Machakos County Senetor. Yes, it’s true that am the besr qualified person for this seat. It’s not my first time as a leader, but have worked with the county and Machakos as speaker. I have got enough experience than any of my competitors.”Mung’ata said.

“I am in the race to rightfully represent my good people of Machakos County as their senator. I promise that once am elected as the next senator, I will give good oversight.” He added.

In attendance was also Machakos County Women Rep Aspirant Ritah Ndunge Ndunda, Kalama MCA Paul Nyanzi others.
