Gospel artist Stella Mengele has called out media personality Oga Obinna, demanding an apology over remarks he made during an interview with controversial gospel singer Ken Kijana, popularly known as Ndeke ya Muthanga, on the Obina Show Monday.
During the show, Obinna questioned Ndeke about his relationship with Mengele, asking whether there was more between them than just friendship.
Despite Ndeke insisting that Mengele was like a mother to him, Obinna pressed further, referencing past rumors that Ndeke had stayed at her house.
His remarks did not sit well with Mengele, who termed them as disrespectful and unprofessional.
“Obinna’s sentiments were inappropriate and disrespectful. As a woman, an artist, and a mentor, I stand firm against any form of objectification, harassment, or language that seeks to demean or belittle women,” Mengele stated.

She further emphasized the need for professionalism in the media industry and urged media personalities to be mindful of how they address women.
“This is not just about me, it is about the culture we are creating. Women in the industry, and in all spaces, deserve to be treated with dignity. I urge all media professionals to be mindful of their words and their impact. Conversations should be uplifting, not degrading,” she added.
She warned Obinna that if he did not offer an apology then he would be left at the mercy of women in the country.
Stella also took a swipe at his spiritual son Ndeke telling him some utterances should not come from him. Ndeke in the interview with Obinna also demeaned some Kamba Gospel artists questioning what their beef is about.
