Machakos Gubernatorial aspirant Nzioka Waita who is also the CCU Party leader has reacted following remarks by Wiper Kalonzo Musyoka that he should step down for Wiper candidate Wavinya Ndeti.
“I keep saying ..the people of Machakos will decide for themselves who they want as their Governor. Attempts to force an endorsement for my competitor fell flat on their face.” Nzioka in a tweet said.
The Tweet;
“Kalonzo Musyoka kwa heshima, haujachukua kura yako hapa Machakos. Kwa hivyo omba kura za Baba, mengine utuachie,tutajipanga , watu wa Machakos sio wajinga hio dawa unajaribu kutupatia haimezeki! ” Waita in a different Tweet said.
Speaking in Masinga, Kalonzo had said that Machakos county doesn’t need another Mutua seemingly referring to Waita.
“I am happy that our Wiper party is strong, the rest are our sons. Even Nzioka Waita is my friend, I will speak to him. Are you listening to me?” Kalonzo said as cheers and jeers from Wavinya and Nzioka Supporters rendered the air.
In Athi River, Kalonzo told Waita that Wavinya had suffered from her votes being rigged and that if he needed to uphold respect he should step down for her. Waita in protest stood and waved his hands in denial.
Raila addressing the Rally said that they will resolve the issue of Wavinya and Waita.
