Former Makueni County Deputy Majority Leader and Nguu/Masumba ward MCA Harris Ngui has died in a road crash this evening.
The accident happened at Salama along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway and his vehicle is said to have collided with a trailer.
His vehicle was destroyed seriously and he is said to have sustained fatal injuries.
