New twist to Matungulu West Ward MCA race as 2 MCA Aspirants withdraw their bid

2 MCA Aspirants from Matungulu West ward in Matungulu sub-county have withdrawn their bids and announced support for the Wiper candidate for the seat.

The duo accompanied Wiper aspirant for Matungulu West ward Raphael Lucky Nzau to present his nomination papers to IEBC Matungulu.

Pius Wambua who comes from Nguluni said that he decided to support lucky for MCA after realizing that there was no need to divide the votes of Matungulu West ward when the country was being brought together.

Pius who has vied severally for the Matungulu West ward said that among all other leaders he saw Lucky as the one who was going to deliver the promises he made to the people of Matungulu West ward.

“We are in the mood of bringing the country together and o have done my research and saw there is no need to divide the votes of Matungulu West ward, we are following the footsteps of our kingpin Kalonzo Musyoka, “Pius said.

“Without being coaxed, we have decided to give one of us all the votes to ensure that he delivers to the people of Matungulu West ward and that person is none other than Lucky Nzau,” he added.

Alexander Kilonzo, who was vying on a Grand Dream Development Party ticket said that he saw that Lucky was going to deliver to the people of Matungulu West ward and that they had agreed that he was going to ensure he gives back to the society as agreed.

Raphael Lucky Nzau after being cleared by IEBC to vie for Matungulu West ward seat on a Wiper ticket promised to deliver all the promises he had given to the residents noting that it is high time the Kamba community spoke with one voice just as the two leaders had spoken on one voice.

“I Have been cleared today by IEBC to vie for Matungulu West ward and above all, I want to thank my two friends Alex and Pius for their selflessness and putting down their ambitions to support me and I promise to deliver this seat,” said Lucky.
